I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

0 is the only price i would pay.If i wasnt worried about going to prison or losing my kids I would have a garden in my back yard.Whatever i dont use the neighbors could have.Commercialally grown ganja is bad anyways all the fertilizer that doesnt get used by the plant ends up in our bodys think about that before u buy that next bag of beasters. However this is one of the reasons its still illeagal our government knows that ther would be no way to prevent backyard gardens and that grower could circumvent the tax by selling on the blackmarket. The pre_packaged herb that one would purchase at the local smoke shop would be worthless compaired to what one could grow in thier back yard or closet.Im sure the large distibuters would be adding all thay chemy stuff to keep it fresh and tastey while it sits on the shelf for months. If every that smokes planted 5 seeds there would be no need to buy it and no way for the DEA to stop it

you have to price weed at a much cheaper and better quality than what the black market can do. Once the black market is gone the price can go up slowly to a better market value.

but remember if the price goes too high the black market will return. You have to make the price around the same price that it would take to grow your own. I’m talking high quality weed not back yard bush.

We need to retain the right to grow our own back yard bush too.

If there are no limits to growing and breeding, then quality will go up. But I think there will be plenty of herb that will be cheap but good quality. I say for top quality though, $100-$175

A lot of people think the price of a product is based on its costs of production, but in reality a product’s price is based on the price of competing products.

The costs of production only determine whether a producer can compete at all.

So the price of legal marijuana will most likely be based on the price products such as alcohol, a restaurant dinner, and tickets to movies, games and shows.

At a guess, that’d make an ounce equivalent to maybe a bottle of whiskey or good wine. But it’ll all depend on demand and where it’s sold.

$20-$50 will not even pay the taxes…
If you want to smoke industrial/corperate, WEED go ahead and pay $20…

    I would gladly pay $100/oz
Thats less than 1/2 of what I pay now! :-|

dern so far 14 votes of $50 or more. If thats the case I wanna be your seller cause yall are ready to pay High dollar!

If it was legal it would be grown in mass amounts, no? If a six pack of coke costs $3, then 1 can costs .50 cents (thats kinda where we are now in the legal med mj growing). But if a case of cokes costs $5, then 1 can costs around .20 cents. Im thinking if legal, the price would be based from 1000 cokes.

Where am I wrong in my logic?
