I have been told that when a story starts with the words, "I was born...", ya knew you were in trouble, so... here is me. I was born in 1955, in a medium sized city in West Virginia. This is where I lived until I joined the military in 1975. This is also where, at the age of 15, I started toking. My military career was spent keeping my front in place... work hard and play hard. I was deeply "in the closet" for the entire 20 years, with one exception. I successfully steered a US Naval vessel to pay for a "party"... 'nuff said. I was married for a while (24 years) and raised 4 children after a divorce through their teenage years, successfully. I have 5 kids. Two of them nurses or nurses to be. Two of them are US Marines. The other one is a US Soldier. I also have 11 grandchildren. Other than my 20 years in the military, I am a musician (Jazz/Blues) playing sax and violin (sex & violence), photographer, poet, writer, farmer, beer brewer, chandler, mead maker, carpenter, did some work in the adult entertainment industry for 6 years, daddy and grampa. I now live off the land in Northwestern Minnesota and in my spare time I fight for cannabis legalization.

Dang, I’m a dweeb. I have a new found respect for you RevRayGreen.

Thank you for standing up for people who cannot stand up for themselves! I have had neck, and back surgery this past year! I am soooo sick of pill pill pills! Why oh why do these people not see the light! So many alcohol realated car crashes! So many people hooked on pills and hard drugs! Why cant we make our own decision! We the people who pays their salaries, their kids education! No we must sit in severe pain and dish out our dollars! Enough is enough! LEGALIZE keep the jails open for the child molestors, rapests and murders!!! Thanks Again! Grateful Iowa Resident!

In some ways it’s a little sad and pathetic that the only reason that prohibitionists have left to continue their irrational crusade is ” because I said so, that’s why”. Their “science” is gone their claims of social damage are gone, the much loved gateway theory is gone,every legitimate scientist they recruited to prove them right has instead proven them wrong and, in turn, abandoned the good ship Dumbass
Every shred of evidence that they have acquired that proves their position untenable has been shredded.
Do they REALLY not get it, or are they just waiting to see if we give up before they do?

Great job RevRay!

You brought a tear to my eye, and opened many others. Your speech was well written; you made a lot of really good points. I particularly liked your comment about “in 2010, to be against medical marijuana is political suicide”.

Pure genius.
