I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Rare Amazon Rainforest Plant – Miraculous Herb?

Bogarta, Columbia – Scientists in the Amazon River Basin have long been on the prowl for plants with medicinal properties. Though several species had potential, none has demonstrated reliable and repeatable medical benefits – until now. Says Dr. J.R. Huffin, “The Inupipi tribe have been using this herb for all of their verbal history, which is said to stretch back some 5,000 years. Their medicine men have traditionally used it as a pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic poultice, and as a religious sacrament. Our lab work confirms these properties, and suggests that this herb may have the ability to ward off several types of cancer through the use of a process called apoptosis.”

According to the doctor and his colleagues, this rare and previously undiscovered plant has demonstrated anti-cancer action in both laboratory and real-world settings. It contains no known toxins; based on current studies, it is suggested that this gift of nature is so unassuming that it is physically impossible for a non-allergic user to overdose to the point of death. Its effects on other body systems are being studied, though no harmful effects are known to remain beyond the period of use.

If these findings hold up under rigorous scientific study, Dr. Huffin is certain to win a Nobel Prize in medicine, for having discovered the most useful medical plant on Earth. Though he is careful not to toot his own horn, one can detect a bit of chest-puffing as he describes its effects.
