It’s the “Truth Enforcement Vehicle”, a former police car bought at auction. DFW NORML replaced the red’n'blue lights with green LEDs and christened it vehicle #420 (of course).

University of North Texas (UNT) Habitat for Humanity held their annual “Shak-a-Thon” on the UNT lawn campus again this year. UNT NORML proudly displayed their dispensary while several students lived in it during the length of the event, a 3-day, 2-night sleep out fundraiser to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Passer-by’s donated to the shack and whoever raises the most money wins.

This month, there will be great grilled Food, Live Reggae Music and an impassioned speech by Larry Talley, retired Special Forces Intelligence Operative, for cannabis regulation. Larry will be providing expert testimony to the Texas Legislative committee for House Bill 1491 later this month in Austin.

The Reverand Horton Heat is the stage name of Jim Heath the bandleader of the psychobilly trio from Dallas, TX. The group originally formed in 1985, playing its first gigs in Dallas’s Deep Ellum neighborhood. Its current members are Jim “Reverend Horton” Heath on guitar and lead vocals, Jimbo Wallace on the upright bass, and Paul Simmons on drums. Through relentless touring and a manic stage show, they have established themselves as one of the most popular underground acts in America.
