Music: Big B - “We Can Smoke”

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

More To Hate

A little party music to get us ready for a big weekend coming up, Stashers. BIG B brings the party with “We Can Smoke”. Today’s track features our friends, the KOTTONMOUTH KINGS. Taking some inspiration from that early 80’s hit “Safety Dance” by Men without Hats, Big B puts his spin on what has always been a feel-good tune. No stranger to a party, Big B is from the capital of partyville, Las Vegas, Nevada. You might have seen Big B on A & E’s award winning docudrama, “Inked”. When he isn’t touring and creating music, he is probably getting some new ink, or just hanging out at Hart and Huntington in Las Vegas. If you happen to be in that party town, stop by and say high to Big B!

Music: The Tentacles - “Ganja Computer”

Friday, March 14th, 2008

The TentaclesWelcome to Friday, you beautiful stashers! Take a long deep puff of today’s track “Ganja Computer” by THE TENTACLES. Hip-hop, trip-hop, psychedelic, what-ever you call todays music it will groove you to your soul and have you humming the lyrics all weekend. With a killer bass line, funky lyrics and a bit of electronica, the Tentacles have me convinced that I do, in fact, have a ganja computer. Well-known in the underground New York music scene, members Sam Crees and Peter Teraberry are artists in every sense of the word. They have an online and traveling art show called MODA (Museum of Drunken Art) filled with all the weird and wonderful art they create and collect. Look them up on their myspace page and make sure you add this track to your next party mix tape.
