For It’s a Rap Friday we hear from hip hop legends Bone Thugs-n-Harmony with their song ‘The Weed Song’, which was nominated in 2007 Marijuana Music Awards.
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are best known for their fast-paced rapping style and harmonizing vocals.
Since the band’s formation in the early 1990s, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have received numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 1997.
The group worked with icons such as Eazy-E and 2Pac and are recognized as one of the most successful hip-hop groups, having sold 50 million records.

Today’s toker tuner for ‘It’s a Rap Friday’ is ‘I Get High’ by Coolie High.
Coolie High, from the West Coast, has been making a name for himself in the rap world for more than a decade. He was a hip-hop baby who came to music through breakdancing.
Coolie High’s music style is fun loving with a laid back flow, typical of the West Coast.
He has worked with many popular rap artists and features some of the best in the business on his latest album, with production being handled by producers of 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes.
Coolie High recently started a record label and also hosts a 4.20 internet radio show.
