Dr. Oz and guests like Dr. Donald Abrams went on to discuss the difference between the medical marijuana laws in the west specifically California and Colorado versus the east and especially in my home state of New Jersey. Allen St. Pierre, the Executive Director of NORML elaborated on how the laws aren’t perfect in California but before he could continue Allen was interrupted by rude outbursts coming from incredibly arrogant individuals on the prohibitionist side.

Last month, Baltimore native and talk show host Montel Williams urged lawmakers to pass it. Williams uses it to ease pain from multiple sclerosis.
“The only thing that has kept me a contributing member of this society for the last 10 years [is medical marijuana],” Williams said. “So many people…are going to watch this press conference and say, `But there are so many things out there.’ Unfortunately, opiates don’t work for me anymore.”

A coalition of Senators and Delegates held a press conference on Monday, January 24, to mark the reintroduction of legislation that seeks to regulate the limited use and distribution of medical marijuana by authorized patients. The measures, House Bill 291 and Senate Bill 308, are similar to proposals introduced in 2010 legislative session.

It my belief that if we can convince every famous or powerful or wealthy person that believes in marijuana reform to use their advantage, on a regular basis, to spread the word of reform, we would have a very powerful voice that would reach millions.
