Music: The Omega Project - “Leaf”
Friday, May 23rd, 2008
A very happy Friday stashers! We have an update and another great toker-friendly tune from THE OMEGA PROJECT. Carlos, Frank and Patience return, bringing their A-game with today’s tune, “Leaf”. A classic jam, funk, reggae, rhythm, festival band - the boys live up to the hype with another big song featuring Carlos and his rich voice, Frank and his tight rhythms and Patience slammin’ on the bass. You might remember that we interviewed Carlos Cardona on his birthday in April and he had quite a tale to tell about an unfortunate encounter with the law. We are happy to report that our hero will not be spending any time behind bars! He was levied a hefty fine and will be spending considerable time doing some community service, so zip over to the Omega Project’s website, and leave him some love and good wishes in their guestbook. You can also hear and purchase some of their incredible music on their website at Omegaprojectmusic.com. Ain’t no one should be punished for lovin’ some Leaf!

I Am pleased to bring you THE OMEGA PROJECT and their musical hit “Grow and Eat”. Not just a jam band, but classic rock, R & B, reggae, funk - and I do mean the best of those genres - blended into the perfect festival band - and I do mean festival band - they have played Seattle Hempfest, Amsterdam’s Cannabis Cup and the Kauai Freedom Festival. The perfect community-festival band, they not only know how to jam their asses off, their lyrics prove they have something to say. Enjoy today’s interview with Carlos Cardona who plays guitar and lends his big voice to the band. Patience Ahonui slammin’ on rhythm guitar, bass and vocals and Frank Apra setting the pulse with his energetic percussion round out the Omega Project. Visit their website at
