Music: Kid Fareingna - “Light Up”

Chinkuzi Riddim Riddin #2

For those of you who like dancehall, today we have KID FAREIGNA with his cannabis-culture musical hit, “Light Up”. Dancehall music was born in the 1970’s as the “other” Jamaican popular music and many consider it the roots of hip-hop. It has evolved into deejay-driven electronica. This toker tune from the Canadian DJ, Kid, is a fun, rhythm-based hit that you will love if you are a fan of dancehall or new to the genre. This track can be found on a collection of great dancehall from the Orlando-based crew, Rakkas.

The Kottonmouth Experience Vol. II

A very Happy 420 weekend to all you beautiful stashers! Today I bring to you the newest addition to the KOTTONMOUTH KINGS empire with a track from their new CD/DVD set, The Kottonmouth Xperience Vol. II: Kosmic Therapy, released earlier this week. The Kottonmouth Kings have always been the hip-hop darlings of the cannabis community, writing songs about cannabis culture. This is their 18th project in ten years (yet another punch-in-the-face to the non-motivational syndrome theory) and a whole new batch of KMK classics has been delivered. Not content to produce, perform and record their own brand of rapcore, the Kings have their own record label (suburban noize) and a clothing company. I hope that you have a good time this weekend. I know that the Kottonmouth Kings will be playing in Vegas on Saturday and Anaheim on Sunday and they will, no doubt, bring the house down. Maybe on Monday they can sleep in and get some well deserved rest! In the spirit of our own special holiday, love one another and take care of each other. Let your voice be heard and lets change our world!
