It’s Rockin Thursday and we’re listening to ‘Hard Times’ by Rosemary’s Garden.
Today’s song was nominated in the Marijuana Music Awards and is about the beneficial uses of the Hemp plant.
Rosemary’s Garden are an acoustic/ folk/ rock quartet. Having recently released their debut album, the band are about to start an eight week tour across America.
The talented heart of the band is Michael-Louis, who created the new album from the song-writing to the vocals and music.
ML’s talent has been previously noted by Brian Dobbs, producer of Bon Jovi, Metallica and The Cult.
ML says of their independent roots, “I represent the new, emerging, multifaceted artist” he explains, “I am the epitome of the new artist who can produce music, sell a product, book a tour and arrange publicity, all without a label.”
The result is a successful album with the band’s original mix of guitar, piano, bass and M-L’s powerful and distinctive voice.

It’s Rockin Thursday and as requested we’re listening to Metal music with the song ‘Marijuana’ by Lunatics on Parole.
Described as ‘The next evolution of metal’, Lunatics On Parole sing political music.
The band was formed in 1997, by Kenny the Gardener, as a voice that railed against the political and corporate conglomerates running America and the world.

Lunatics On Parole’s latest album “RISE” is a war cry giving the message ‘don’t be another sheep, rise up to stand up for your self and your rights’.
Although blunt and to the point, the band’s songs are injected with humor and range from political commentary to party music.
