Today’s Irie Wednesday Toker Tune was suggested to me me by Stashers Greg and Tammy of Roanoke, VA. So I had a toke, took a listen and instantly determined that “So High” by Sojah is definitely Stashworthy.

Sojah is a collaberation of brothers Konshens and Delus. Konshens’ musical career started in early 2005 when he and his brother Delus created the duo SOJAH. They recorded a string of demos and stumbled upon what would be the track to jumpstart their career, “Pon Di Corner”. The single became an instant hit upon its arrival into the Japanese market. This prompted a one month tour in Japan in 2005 and an encore tour in 2006 followed by the release of an album exclusive to Japan the same year. Since then SOJAH has released an album in Europe and toured extensively there.

The duo continues to make music as SOJAH and pursue individual careers simultaneously.

“So High” can be found on the album Sojah – Modern Revolution from Irievibrations Records.

Coming from a pure background of Mcee battles, club promotions and graff writing, young Loe found himself at the heart of a growing scene, sharing the stage with, then, up & coming artists such as Sara Jones, Mos Def, muMs, Talib Kweli, and Saul Williams at venues like The Nuyorican Poets Café and S.O.Bs since 1996. Throughout Loe stayed busy in the studio, fine-tuning his recording skills and working with a wide range of artists.

Check out more of Loer Velocity at http://myspace.com/loervelocity. This song is called “So High” from the album “Ready For A Renaissance”. Enjoy your Festivus weekend!
