Saturday Night’s episode of NORML SHOW LIVE will be at a special time – 4:00pm Pacific / 7:00pm Eastern – to take advantage of the lineup here at the Cypress Hill Smokeout in San Bernardino, California. Cheech & Chong are playing a “4:20″ set, so I will be there live, bringing you the comedy from NORML’s favorite comedy team.
Following Cheech & Chong in the lineup are the newly re-formed band Sublime, which many will remember for their cover of “Smoke 2 Joints” among many others. We’ll bring you some of their set as well. I’ve also got an interview with “My Fair Brady’s” Adrianne Curry, Steve Bloom from Celebstoner discussing the celebrity panel, and PonyBoy from Los Marijuanos from Friday’s festivities. Calling in to the show are Kottonmouth Kings and responding to her Jay Leno snub, 2006 Miss New Jersey Georgine DiMaria. (All subject to change due to the chaotic nature of a festival!)
Interspersed with the live audio will be my interviews with many of the artists, celebrities, and just normal folks attending this two day outdoor festival. Join us live at http://live.norml.org, where you can also participate in our online chat and speak live to the host and guests – dial in to 347-994-1810 to participate.

I got the call from Steve Bloom while in Orlando. “Do you want to represent NORML on a Legalization Panel at the Cypress Hill Smokeout in San Bernadino in a couple of weeks?”
Uh, let’s see, hosted by Tommy Chong, guests include Cypress Hill, SlipKnot, the Deftones, Sublime, Method Man & Redman, Bad Brains, Kottonmouth Kings and others, plus panels with Ngaio Bealum, Sarah Diesel, Allison Margolin, Ed Rosenthal, Mikey Avalon, Adrienne Curry, Andy Milonakis, Debby Goldsberry, Shirley Halperin, Steve Bloom, RZA, and me? Is there a stronger reply than “Hell, yes!”
The whole show / expo / panels extravaganja runs Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th. I’m on the Saturday 3:00pm Legalization panel with Rosenthal, Margolin, and Goldsberry. (I’ll even provide you podcasts for that Thursday & Friday… though you may have to deal with the road noise on the Thursday one as I produce it from the laptop in the car while my wife drives.)

Show 004: Three special episodes live from NORML National Conference!
NORML’s new talk radio program, NORML SHOW LIVE, will be streaming for three days at the 2009 NORML National Conference, “Yes We Cannabis”, live from the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco. These special three-hour episodes will be available at live.norml.org at the following special times and archived for download later just fifteen minutes after broadcast:
Thursday, September 24
11:00am – 2:00pm Pacific Time
Friday, September 25
11:00am – 2:00pm Pacific Time
Saturday, September 26
3:00pm – 6:00pm Pacific Time
The show will be hosted by “Radical” Russ Belville, but with very limited commercial interruption and the occasional narration. After the shows broadcast remotely in the difficult wireless environment of Portland’s Kelley Point Park and the noisy backstage of the Boston Freedom Rally, Russ is excited to present an indoor event that will take its audio directly from the conference PA system.
