Today on the stash, I have a bit of Electronica for all you techno fans. Like many good trip-hop artists, BEN BASE has created an entire world just for his music. Listing his home planet as “Zorg” and having survived an intergalactic war that destroyed said planet, Ben Base now lives in San Francisco making fierce drum beat rhythms and living as a super-hero. Although light on lyrics, today’s musical hit “I smoke herbs” has a great beat, a smooth rhythm and some nice horns. Too bad Zorg was destroyed, seems like a nice place to produce music. Well-known in the underground New York music scene, members Sam Crees and Peter Teraberry are artists in every sense of the word.
