Vermont is now one step closer to allowing state-licensed dispensaries to distribute marijuana to qualified patients.
Senate Bill 17 proposes to permit the establishment of two nonprofit medical marijuana dispensaries in the state. Licensed dispensaries would be permitted under the law to legally acquire, possess, cultivate, manufacture, deliver, transfer, transport, supply, sell, or dispenses marijuana, and marijuana-related supplies and educational materials to authorized patients or their caregivers.
