We marched in the drizzle and enjoyed it so much that we’re going to march again this Saturday, May 9.Fifty people showed up in the light rain and we walked from 1st Ave. S at the foot of the Woodland Street Bridge, past the courthouse, down 2nd Ave, up Broadway to 5th Ave N. We crossed the street and marched back to the starting point. It took less than an hour and we got lots of support from passers-by.
So, unless it is pouring down rain, we’ll do it again at 12 noon.
There is plenty of free parking at the corner of First Avenue North and Woodland Street. And, if you’ve got a drum or percussion instrument, please bring it with you. See you Saturday!
