There needs to be future planning coordinated by the major players in the CA marijuana movement. Though not a done deal, there’s a really good chance MJ will be legal in the state between 2010 and 2012–what then, especially if the feds decide to crack down and send a message? State agencies and local municipalities need to be felt out to see if they’ll resist federal pressure. What legal and monetary co-ops will exist to provide support against federal prosecution? Can a unified front be maintained by MJ distributors and retailers to continue selling though being busted? In effect, can the feds be overgrown, or in this case, oversold?

Well said, Paul. From your mouth, to the “Governator”‘s ear. He has nothing to lose, and he can make it happen.

Ironic, would it not be?, to have a republican tip the tides and set an example for all the world.

:greenmj: Free the weed—And those in need. The rest of the country will follow suit, when they see that the sky does not fall.

    The time has come. :big420:

I am so proud to be a Californian. Just the fact that we are having this discussion is a positive step. AB390 will get the support of the people. I can’t wait to see how the feds respond when it passes.
