That said, your comment that it is somehow disproportionately destroying minorities is wrong. You are most likely to be shot by a black youth. That is a fact. If the prisons are full of black and Hispanics, then it is because they committed the crimes. If you said it affects the poor, then it would be more accurate. To say that only blacks and Hispanics are poor is stupid. Most black and Hispanics in prison are there for violence. The drug war is a sham, and it is taking our freedom and making our government our enemy.
