I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Valid medicinal value, it’s a victimless crime, the War on Drugs WAY too costly, too many arrests for simple possession, tax it and use the money to pay for health insurance and to reduce the deficit. Need I say more?

Woodstock Universe supports legalization of Marijuana for a number of reasons. Check them out and vote in our poll “Should marijuana be legalized?” at http://woodstockuniverse.com

Current poll results: 96% for legalization and 4% opposed. Add your vote. Poll runs through October.

Of course that cop is against it, He’s a drug war honcho. He has a HUGE budget to protect. Without a drug war his money dries up faster than the drug war corpses in the Mexican desert.

Also: if I’m unemployed and have a lot of extra time on my hands, plus I’m depressed about being out of work, y’know, I might have a few extra beers to calm my nerves… don’t you think the same logic might apply to marijuana use? Cause/effect is not clear here. Perhaps those who are unemployed will cut their use rates back if they find employment.

Hemp needs to be brought up it would topple the debate. Hemp alone will cover any cost all drugs have on this country.

Its stupid to have a cop on, on our side we have people involved in the movment for 30+ years, then they throw a cop up against us and think they have the knowlage to debate it rationaly? Yet they let these cops spread miss information and lies, without debunking any of it.
