I'm glad we're able to talk about marijuana in the mainstream media, but it would be foolish of us to not realize that media outlets use the issue for their own purposes... not ours.

I have a question. Why has the AC360 crowd advertised this as a "weeklong look at the case for and against marijuana"? Why was it not the "weeklong look at the imagined crisis in Iran"? I mean, this is what anybody who has tuned in has watched for the majority of the time. I've watched AC360 all week. Here's what I've learned: North Korea = evil kidnappers and missle launchers. Iran = politically unstable and anti-american. Anglina Jolie = beautiful woman interested in doing good. Marijuana = controversial issue. Now... where's my doctorate?

How about the pieces on North Korea? The two women? The missle to be fired at Hawaii? Welcome to the weeklong look at "encouraging Americans to think we should (militarily) go into North Korea and Iran."

Anderson Cooper, Keith Olberman, and the rest of the gang from CNN, and MSNBC are just as bad (or good, depending on which team you play for, red or blue) as the morons from Fox News. Believe it.

In the end, it becomes one's perception of the lesser of two evils. Red team vs. Blue team. My guy is good, and your guy is bad. Politics. Bullshit.
