I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

why are those of us with concerns about the “no consumption of cannabis where children are present” mocked and made fun of? it is a legitimate concern…vindictive ex-spouses, uptight children’s friend’s parents, teachers, and, of course, cops *could* exploit the language in this bill – something NO ONE on the pro side is willing to honestly or respectfully address or discuss…no one has adequately defined what is intended by “space” in the bill (including richard lee)…if you *really* want cannabis to be treated like alcohol then it needs to be treated like alcohol…adults CAN consume alcohol in the presence of minors…i have no pony in this race – my children are adults…i’d just like to see someone address these concerns without being snarky about the dictionary definition of “space”…i know richard lee, and i’ve heard what he has had to say, i’ve even worked on the yes campaign but after reading the actual text of the bill, this is a real sticking point…maybe its because i’ve done years of research on many facets of cannabis prohibition, the history of medical cannabis and the history of those who have kept the prohibition going…i’m not so naive as to think that that one clause won’t be misconstrued by law enforcement and others to the detriment of children and their parents – it has the potential to be even more damaging than current california state law…

I hope people like this THC_Ministry keep on bashing those who question. After all, question authority. That’s what it is supposed to be about.

The condescending arrogance displayed by these little cheerleaders stomping their feet is sad and disgusting.

And the “Author” of this slimefest is a real “Radical”. I can tell by the way he writes. Sheesh.

Most of you need a few political lessons banged into your “heads”. Many say it will be easy to “fix” this. They’re probably thinking of NAFTA, and how it’s been “fixed”. To you novices look up NAFTA sometime. It’s a good lesson as to how this 19 thing may turn out.

    Stay Classy Radical Dude

“Tomato voices” = people who believe cannabis should be legal like tomatoes, maybe?

  9. Ray_Christl_THC_Ministry_asia

Sorry, i got your name wrong…with humour called you Kannabis Carrie…love the show and the up-beat voice you project…Roger Christie is not an evil man ! The 250$ donation card is over the top,yet nobody is revoking their faith. Twenty years ago, Roger and I would talk about a religious group( without Jesus) to unify the World. We were ordained in the Religion of Jesus Church. I told him about my smoking with Bob Marley and his sons in Kingston 1973…smartest kids I’ve ever met,but we decided to discourage youth usage (except medical ),until 21y.o. . That is the credo of THC Ministry and Norml, and i know we are the “fruits and nuts” of the hemp movement. Jack Herer was mocked at NORML for 15 years..now Rick Simpson is laughed at,or Roger Christie . The NORML disclaimer as you begin the audio stash ????? Hypocrisy ? Not Roger Christie ! Stupidity in belief of justice under the law ??? That situation , Roger must deal with successfully ?

Yes,I have left blogging on your site. The letters to Marc from the “critical thinking project” will continue. Want to write to Mr.Toews Can.Atty Gen.,for Marc to get back to Canada from the innocent minds of Khmer students…they look forward to meeting Marc and Jodie the beautiful-smart wife. They all cheer to here the great Marc/Jodie will visit Cambodia after release from illegal imprisonment. I teach that women must be smart;men must be attractive. The antithesis is always important in philosophy-logic. Cambodians 2010, have been taught that ganja is “bad’. Science teaches that it is good. Eddy Lepp,Roger Christie,Rick Simpson and Marc Emery will always get love and support from my students. Send you a private email about my disappointment with the CC family mismanagement, of your excellent website. PakAloha and get Marc home safe-with a blockbuster MANUSCRIPT. Cambodia Medical Cannabis is growing…petition is in the works for 1st legal dispensary in Asia.

I have no idea what a tomato voice is…but so happy to see a comment from Jodie Emery! Marc Emery must be released! We will continue to pressure our congressmen here in the states to demand his freedom and devote air time to ask others to do the same.

  12. Jodie Emery

Ray, what do you mean by “influenced the anarchistic ‘tomato’ voices at Cannabis Culture zine, which was terribly eye-opening for me. Left the FREE MARC website”?

You’ve been a great supporter of Marc, so did something happen to throw you off?

While I applaud your disgust at “Dragonfly” ‘s self-centered, narcissistic take on Prop 19, I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over it: she is mostly an “ego” blogger — no one reads her but a few friends, really. Her columns sometimes take up space in a few of the free canna-mags but I have a hard time believing that anyone even remotely knowledgeable about Prop 19 would believe this drivel.

My guess is that all of this is just an attention-getting tactic on the part or Ms. “Dragonfly”….and it worked: you just gave her blog a bit of free advertising. Perhaps “Leech de la Luz” would be a bit more of an appropriate pseudonym.

  14. Mikey

…To come on Norml Show Live that is.

  15. Mikey

Let me guess. She hasn’t taken you up on that offer.

  16. E

Just the arrogant look on Luz’ face speaks volumes. I mean how the hell does legal bud equal medical users getting busted. WTF!? :flush:

  17. Ray_Christl_THC_Ministry_asia

The beauty of Dragonfly is something that after hours of reggae dancing we could convince her that TOSH would vote YES. Is that a new treasure trove of audio podcasts from the NORML conferences ??? Promise to send some money. Would like to find some brave people here in Cambodia to start a country chapter.

  18. Ray_Christl_THC_Ministry_asia

Agree with you ,Russ, yet it’s a pain in the ass to deal with these greedy misled folks….Yes, you’re doing a super job bringing sanity, logic and enlightenment. Dennis Peron and these two gals influenced the anarchistic “tomato” voices at Cannabis Culture zine ,which was terribly eye-opening for me . Left the FREE MARC website and enjoy it at NORML much more. The honesty at this site is exemplary,so keep up the great work.

  19. Ray_Christl_THC_Ministry_asia

The poll above is 100% pro Prop 19…stop giving any vibe to “agent provocateurs” trying to make a name for themselves, like this lady, and Jennifer Soares the dispensary neophyte attorney. Sure, Radman has to debunk this selfish behavior. A recent email from Chris Conrad shows the brain trust wasting time on this bizarre tandem of females for cannabis. We need women to speak up.so any female voices are greatly welcome, yet these two are just taking resources away from reassuring the soccer mom types . Media push these last 10 weeks, that freedom-control-taxation is the way to regulate this sacred substance, in the modern ” social contract “.
