I am the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" for my work producing Oregon NORML's TV show, "A Cannabis Community Forum", and for helping to institute Portland's wildly successful medical marijuana cardholders meetings, where we help sick and disabled Oregonians acquire cannabis plant starts, learn gardening, and understand the medical marijuana law. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to be our daily voice.

Unfortunately, this sort of thing is commonplace in GA. There is a type of person that seems to be present in all facets of life, that believes it is their duty to police other people’s morals. It’s usually done in the name of god and the bible.

These types of actions are absolutely discriminatory. They are designed to disrupt. I have seen it happen time and again and unfortunately, in these parts, the people behind this type of injustice are often successful at quelling what they view as opposing political or religious views.

They give Georgians a bad name. The entire southeastern united states is viewed by most of the rest of the US as being filled with primitive moral crusaders and prudes who have failed to evolve intellectually unlike most people. I cannot even begin to express the outrage and disgust I feel at reading this and remembering all the times when people like that have gotten away with what they did simply because they knew that MOST people are not able to fight back. They are self righteous bullies. The best way to beat them is to show them that we will not be intimidated. These types of tactics need to be countered without hesitation at the highest courts if needs be.
