Victory! Right to petition to legalize marijuana in Missouri upheld! | The NORML Stash Blog

I am the producer of The NORML Network, the host of the NORML SHOW LIVE and The NORML Stash Blog, and NORML's Outreach Coordinator. I'm married, live in Portland, Oregon, and I am a registered medical marijuana caregiver in this state. I've worked days as an IT geek and nights as a professional musician. Previously, I have been the host of my own political talk radio show on satellite radio. I've been the High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" and I travel across the country to educate people on marijuana reform. I've dedicated my life to bringing an end to adult marijuana prohibition and re-legalizing cannabis hemp, and I'm honored to be chosen by NORML to give voice to the Marijuana Nation and to speak for those who can't speak up.

Our federal government is running raid campaigns in medical cannabis states every time legislation comes up that they want to fail in those states. We have been discussing the injustices visited upon legal citizens for doing what is legal that were picked up in those campaigns, but I think we missed something important.
What do you call people that creep in the night, trying to instill fear in support of a political goal? Last time I looked, those folks were called terrorists. The federal government using terror tactics to influence the laws passed in the states?

I’m wondering why the FBI didn’t get involved? Oh yea, I forgot, the current Head Agent in Charge of the FBI doesn’t support the constitutional rights of citizens. He, along with his entire cabinet, needs to be dismissed. Then, we need national legislation that requires a citizens review panel for every single police incursion with a citizen. Only after the binding panel of citizens has been in place for several years will be begin to see a cultural change in Law Enforcement from one of oppression to one of “protecting and serving” the community.

I think its time we start issuing police citations for stupid or harmful policing, start holding these public servants to their job duties and start demanding punishment for those who offend! Police, they will do everything they can to stop us from getting the truth out and letting the citizens demand what they want!
