They ratted themselves out. And now they get a real charge instead of a ticket for having a scale. Dumb. Reminds of the guys I grew up with that were loaded on booze at a party. "Johnny just got busted for OUI, let's go bail him out." Ten minutes later the whole car of them are in jail, the driver for OUI and the rest for being drunk in public/resisting arrest. Never go to see the police when you have weed or are under the influence, especially in a car! Like Russ said. Amateurs. They ratted themselves out. How did the cop automatically know it was a blunt?
